PIXEL BARRACKS PC CLUB — a computer club with a window to the sky
Top floor, panoramic glass, rows of gaming PCs. Play through the evening while the light drains out of the windows and, on clear nights, the stars come up over the desks. Book a station by the hour — window, core or duo.
until tonight's dark-sky hour — we dim the window lights for 30 minutes
RA 21h · DESKS
Twenty-six gaming PCs across three zones. Every station runs the same rig; what changes is where you sit and how close you are to the glass. Silence stars below mark how quiet a row tends to run in the evening.
RA 21h · THE WINDOW
Once a night we dim the window lights for thirty minutes. Screens stay bright, games keep running — nothing pauses — but the glow along the glass drops so the sky outside gets its turn. You can play straight through it or spin your chair and just look.
The glass is coated to cut reflections, and the window rows use matte panels so a bright screen does not paint itself back onto the view. We are honest about it: this is a room with a good window, not a planetarium. In town you will read the brightest stars and the odd satellite; a clear night out of the city is always better.
RA 21h · RIGS
No tiered machines and no guessing which desk is faster. Every one of the 26 stations is the same build, cleaned between sessions and checked each morning. Here is the spec in plain daylight.
27-inch flat panels running at 240 Hz, matte-coated so window light never mirrors back into the picture.
A current-generation graphics card in every tower, matched to a fast multi-core CPU and 32 GB of memory.
Full-tilt padded chairs with lumbar support and a footrest under the ledge — built for a three-hour sit.
Mechanical keyboards, low-latency wired mice and closed headsets, wiped down between every booking.
Every station is on wired gigabit. No shared wireless dips in the middle of a match, ever.
Prefer your own mouse or keyboard? Front-panel USB is easy to reach — plug in and you are set.
RA 21h · TIME
Hourly PC time, no membership required. Longer blocks cost less per hour. Prices are the same at every station — a window row and a core row are booked at the same rate.
6/ hour
A single hour on any free station. Perfect for a quick session or trying the window rows before a longer booking.
20/ 4 hrs
Four hours from dusk onward — the block that covers the dark-sky hour. The dimmed half-hour is charged as ordinary time; the view over the desks is on us.
30/ overnight
From late until close on Friday and Saturday. The quietest hours in the club, when the core rows empty out and the glass goes fully dark.
The star hour — the thirty dimmed minutes are billed as normal time. The magic outside the glass costs nothing.
RA 21h · WISH BOARD
By the entrance there is a board of paper stars. Write a season goal on one and pin it up — a game to finish, a rank to reach on points, a friend to teach. When you pull it off, tell the desk and we light your star. No prizes, no ranking against anyone else; just the shared quiet joy of a room that watches each other's goals come good.
Finish the story mode I keep restarting.

RA 21h · NIGHT WINDOW
Three frames from the rows and the glass, taken on quiet nights when the window lights are low and the sky has come up over the desks.
RA 21h · THE FLOOR
A quick read on the room before you book — how many stations, how they run, and the shape of a night on the top floor. No rankings and nothing to win here, just the plain count of what waits behind the glass.
Gaming stations across the window, core and duo zones — every one the same build.
Stations set right along the panoramic glass, the first seats to fill on clear evenings.
The matte-panel refresh at every desk, tuned so window light never mirrors back.
The dark-sky half-hour we dim the window lights once a night, charged as ordinary time.
RA 21h · NEWCOMERS
Never sat in a club like this? You are in good company — plenty of guests walk in for their first hour and stay for the view. Every station is set up and ready, headset on the hook, so you drop into a game without touching a single cable. Ask the desk for anything: a quiet core row, a hand finding the right settings, or just where the light is best after dusk.
There is no membership gate and no wrong way to start. Book a single hour on any free seat, try the window rows, and see how the room feels when the glass goes dark. If you take to it, longer blocks cost less per hour — but a first hour is all you need to decide.
RA 21h · THREE STEPS
No account, no wait. Picking a seat on the top floor takes about a minute — here is the whole path from the form to your chair by the glass.
Choose a window row for the view, a core row for the quietest sit, or the duo ledge to play beside a friend. Same rig, same rate, every zone.
A single hour, a three-hour run, or an evening block that covers the dark-sky half-hour. Longer blocks carry a lower rate per hour.
We hold your station and, on clear nights, save you a good seat for the dimmed half-hour. Walk in, sign the desk, and you are on the glass.
RA 21h · STARGAZER FAQ
Honestly, some. From a rooftop in town you will pick out the brightest stars, the moon and the occasional satellite once we dim the window lights. A clear night away from city glow is always better, and we will never pretend otherwise. What the club offers is a comfortable room with a genuinely good window — the sky is a bonus on top of the gaming, not a planetarium ticket.
We designed around exactly that. The glass carries an anti-reflective coating, and the window rows use matte 240 Hz panels instead of glossy ones, so a bright game does not mirror itself back onto the view. During the dark-sky half-hour the room glow drops further, which cuts reflections even more. You still get a clear picture on screen and a clear look outside.
Yes. When you book, pick Window as your spot and we hold one of the fourteen window-row stations for you. They are the first to fill on clear evenings, so booking ahead is the safe move. If every window seat is taken we will offer you the nearest core row and text you if a window frees up.
The club runs from midday until 2am on weeknights, until 6am on Friday and Saturday, and to midnight on Sunday. The overnight night block runs from late until close on Friday and Saturday only — the quietest stretch, when the core rows empty out and the glass goes fully dark. Full hours are listed in the footer.
Not at all. The wish board is there if you want it — a paper star for a season goal you pin up by the door, and a lit star when you pull it off. Plenty of guests just come to play and never touch it, and that is completely fine. It is a small shared ritual, never a requirement for booking a station.
RA 21h · RESERVE
Pick a date, a spot and a block. We will hold your station and, if the sky is clear, save you a good seat for the dark-sky hour.
Window to the sky · what people play
With the night sky over the glass, the rooftop leans into wide horizons and big open worlds. Pick a window seat and play something that stretches out.
Star maps, dogfights and deep-space exploration under an actual sky of stars.
Vast maps made for wandering, best from a window seat after dark.
When the core rows want speed, 240Hz shooters keep the aim honest.
Flight sims and racing lines for the players chasing a clean run.
Build something tall to match the view — creative worlds and survival crafting.
Two seats on a ledge, one shared adventure, the sky doing the rest.
